Public Safety Training Offered in May

Risk Management Services will offer a public safety training for law enforcement and firefighters on May 15 in Columbia.  

The training will discuss preventing injuries during foot pursuits and apprehension of suspects, law enforcement moonlighting, improving resilience and performance with exercise, minding nutrition and sleep, which can be remembered with the acronym “EMS,” and an update on the Occupational Safety and Health Administration fire service regulation. 

Presenters will include retired Police Chief Michael Ranalli, attorney Andrew Lindemann, Aaron Zamzow of Fire Rescue Fitness and SC State Fire Marshal Jonathan Jones.
