Position Hours
7 - 7, Rotating 2 on 2 off, 3 on two off, two on 3 off two week rotations
Job Duties

Performs protective service work enforcing laws, investigating criminal activity, ensuring safety of public, maintaining records and files, testifying in court, preparing reports, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the close supervision of the Police Sergeant.

Interviews victims and witnesses obtaining additional information regarding crime, accident, violation, etc.

Performs other duties as apparent or assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

South Carolina Criminal Justice Training Academy Class 1 Law Enforcement certification.

Must possess and maintain South Carolina Driver’s License (Class D).
