Rotating 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties

Patrol assigned areas and responds to calls for service to enforce all public safety and welfare related law enforcement work as required.

Enforce all state and local laws including the apprehension and arrest criminal suspects.

Preparation of reports and other documentation Prepare cases for court and provide court testimony as necessary.

Qualifications

Must be 21 years of age. Must be a United States Citizen. Must have a clean criminal record (no felonies, serious misdemeanors, Criminal Domestic Violence, or crimes of moral turpitude).

Must have a South Carolina Driver’s License at date of hire. Must have High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Must have Honorable Discharge, if served in the military.

Candidate must be able to pass the following: Hiring board, Physical agility course, Polygraph exam, Psychological exam and Medical examination.

Certified Class 1 starting at $52,381
