Job Duties

Accurately process vendor invoices and payments, including wire transfers for payroll. Match invoices with purchase orders and code invoices to general ledger accounts. Review and correct data discrepancies to ensure accuracy. Maintain detailed fixed asset records and assist with the preparation of the roll forward. Generate and update miscellaneous invoices and maintain petty cash records. Answer inquiries from employees regarding accounts payable procedures and credit card accounts. Perform general clerical duties, including typing, filing, and data entry.

Collaborate with various departments, vendors, and external agencies.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and bookkeeping principles. Proficiency with office equipment and software (e.g., computers, calculators, and printers). Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial data. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with internal teams and external partners. 

Physical Requirements - Ability to sit for lengthy periods and occasionally lift objects up to 20 pounds.
