Job Duties

Respond to calls for service, enforce traffic violations, and all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years of age with no criminal or misdemeanor convictions (other than minor traffic violations). A person in this position must be able to pass a physical agility test and pass a background check. High school diploma or GED. Possess a valid South Carolina Driver’s License. Must successfully complete the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy Basic Law Enforcement Training Program within 12 months of date of hire (if uncertified).

Must be able to run the PAT prior to hire in 2:06 or less.

Must be able to pass a drug/physical screening, psychological evaluation, and reading comprehension exam.

Pay Info
Dependent up certification and experience.
