Job Duties

Patrols town limits. Responds to calls for service relayed by dispatch. Prepares detailed written incident and investigation reports. Testifies in court cases when necessary. Work schedule consists of rotating shifts as follows: 

First Week: Monday 1200-0000, Tuesday 1200-0000, Wednesday OFF, Thursday OFF, Friday 1400-0200, Saturday 1400-0200, Sunday 1400-0200.

Second Week: Monday OFF, Tuesday OFF, Wednesday 1200-0000, Thursday 1200-0000, Friday OFF, Saturday OFF, Sunday OFF.

Schedule rotates every two weeks.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and a minimum of 21 years old at time of application. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and have the physical ability to perform essential job functions. Must possess certification from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy. Preferably 3 years already certified as Class 1 Officer.

Pay Info
$42000 - $44000 annually
