12 Hour Shifts, 14 Days a month rotation
Job Duties

Patrol functions which include responding to calls for service, conducting business checks, investigating suspicious behavior, and traffic enforcement.

Investigate and report motor vehicle collisions.

Performs any other related work as required.

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Must possess or be able to obtain Class 1 certification through SCCJA (Preference given to pre-certified applicants).

Must hold or be able to obtain a valid SCDL.

Pay Info
Uncertified ($45,500, Graduation of SCCJA will increase pay to $48,000 and rank of Patrol Officer is obtained. After 18 months of employment your pay increases to $50,400 if not already obtained).
Patrol First Class ($53,928-$55,276)
Master Patrol Officer ($59,321-$60,804)
