This on-demand training provides an overview of universally accepted principles that govern design-related issues ranging from the composition of a storefront, to the overall articulation of a façade, to basic urban planning concepts. Additionally, the mechanics of facilitating a Design Review Board meeting are addressed such as making effective motions and building a defensible record.
While the target audience for this training is SC’s Certified Local Governments, material is applicable to individuals and organizations with a general interest in historic preservation.
