Special Funds Manager, Town of Lexington
The Town of Lexington is accepting applications for the position of Special Funds Manager in the Administration Department. The Special Funds Manager is responsible for the leadership, development and oversight of special revenue funds for the Town of Lexington. Provides oversight for Business License, Hospitality Tax, Accommodations Tax and Impact Fee operations and enforcement. Prepares grant and other funding requests to nonprofit and government agencies. Ensures compliance and reporting for special funds received. Prepares, monitors and maintains all sponsorship and donation agreements.
Supervises Business License Coordinator and Business License Inspector. Position reports to the Assistant Town Administrator.
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in public administration, business administration or related field from an accredited college or university. Must have five to seven years of progressively responsible experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Experience with grant writing and administration required. Experience administering hospitality and accommodations tax funds preferred. Experience with business license administration preferred.
Current designation as, or ability to obtain, Accreditation in Business Licensing (ABL) within three years required. Masters in Business Licensing (MBL) designation preferred. Must possess a valid State driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle record.
