28 hours maximum per week; primarily Saturdays and Sundays
Job Duties

Conducts recreational activities for community members of all ages; Supervises fields/parks during programming events; Open/Close parks when programming is scheduled; Inspect complexes and fields prior to programming; Observe officials, volunteers, participants and patrons during programming events; Enforce rules and standard for each site or park during programming events; Prepares facility for planned events, programs and rentals – includes cleaning; Ensures facility is maintained and safe procedures are followed; Advertises upcoming events, programs and rentals;

Monitors events, rentals and activities at each facility; Orders and maintains equipment and supplies pertaining to programming and rentals; Trains volunteers to conduct events and follow safety procedures; Completes reports for injury, accidents and other incidents; Performs general clerical duties as required, including preparing reports and correspondence, copying and filing documents, answering the telephone, attending meetings, etc.; Performs related work as required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED; Prefer experience in recreational programs and activities; Must be at least 18 years old; or any combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must possess a valid state issued driver’s license.

Pay Info
Minimum $16.03 hourly; dependent on experience.
