Job Duties
Job Duties include but are not limited to: Respond to emergency & nonemergency calls. Patrol assigned areas. Conduct traffic stops & issue citations. Obtain & serve warrants. Collect & secure evidence. Write detailed reports & fill out forms. Prepare cases for legal proceeding & testify in court.
Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age, High School Diploma or GED. Valid SC Driver’s License. A physical examination is required and all other requirements as stated by the S. C. Criminal Justice Academy must be fulfilled.
Non-Certified applicants must be able to attend & pass the SC Criminal Justice Academy.
