Job Duties

Performs routine clerical and administrative work in receiving the public, providing customer assistance, cashiering, data processing and bookkeeping, as well as answering in-coming calls and routing callers to proper departments and providing information as required.

Collects revenue by receiving and recording monies due to the town. Balances cash drawer by comparing monies received to reports generated from database, reconciling differences and completing deposit slips for bank deposits.

Other duties as prescribed by the Customer Service Manager and Administrative Services Director.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with specialized course work in general office practices such as typing, filing, accounting, and bookkeeping.

One year of customer service and/or cashier experience or any equivalent combination of related education are required.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Must pass a background check.

Pay Info
Salary is $16.00 - $17.00 hourly along with a great benefits package.
