Position Hours
8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some work on weekends and evenings.
Job Duties

Lead and mentor a team of communication professionals including a Communications Manager, Marketing & Brand Manager, Communications Specialist, and a part-time Social Media Specialist.

Develop and execute a comprehensive Communications Plan that aligns with the town’s goals and enhances our community presence. Maintain robust media relations and act as the primary Public Information Officer.

Manage partnerships and contractual obligations with external organizations like the Destination Marketing Organization. Oversee the development of press releases, social media content, and other crucial communication materials.

Qualifications

Visionaries with a Bachelor’s degree and at least eight years of relevant experience, including extensive senior management experience. Strategic thinkers with a deep understanding of media, public relations, and community engagement.

Leaders who thrive on coaching and developing teams to achieve excellence. Professionals adept at managing complex projects and who can prioritize under pressure. Excellent communicators who can articulate complex ideas compellingly to diverse audiences.

Pay Info
Competitive hiring salary range of $125,000 - $155,000 depending on qualifications.
