Benefits Manager, Town of Hilton Head Island
Lead the administration of our employee benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive, compliant, and aligned with our organizational goals. Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and retirees, providing expert guidance and support on all benefits-related inquiries and issues. Develop and deliver engaging communications and educational materials to keep our workforce informed and empowered.
Build and maintain strong relationships with benefits vendors to ensure top-tier service delivery and resolve any issues promptly. Oversee the annual open enrollment process from planning to implementation.
Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory changes. Ensure our benefits programs comply with all federal, state, and local regulations, and continuously seek opportunities to enhance our offerings. Champion our wellness program by designing and implementing initiatives that promote health and well-being. Organize events such as health fairs, immunizations, and screenings to support our employees' wellness journey.
A solid background in benefits administration with a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and at least five years of relevant experience.
In-depth knowledge of HR management principles, federal and state regulations, and industry best practices. PEBA and PORS experience highly desirable.
Ability to manage complex projects, analyze data accurately, and meet time-sensitive deadlines without compromising quality.
