Jake joined the Association as the chief operating
officer in 2020. Prior to joining the Association, Jake served in Goose Creek
as assistant city administrator and then city administrator for five years.
Previously, he served as the assistant city administrator in Forest Acres for
four years. He began his career as the assistant to the city manager in Camden.
Jake received a bachelor's degree in political science and a master’s degree in
public administration from the University of South Carolina. Jake completed the Senior Executives in State and
Local Government program at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard
University in June of 2019.
