Criteria
This award recognizes an individual with outstanding leadership and community building skills. The person must exemplify the spirit of community development by showing vision, building partnerships and achieving results that make a difference in the community. The candidate must demonstrate a personal commitment and involvement above and beyond day-to-day responsibilities or show a significant contribution to the community development profession.

Eligibility
Residents, Public Officials, Elected Officials or Community Development Professionals

Nominations
Any active or associate SCCDA member may nominate an individual.

Selection Process
The SCCDA board of directors will review all nominations and select the award winner. The winner will receive the award at the SCCDA Annual Meeting May 7 – 9, 2025.
